The cost of paying this loadman is more than the cost that brands are willing to pay for EPR fulfillment.
This is a Tata Ace, holding 350-450kgs of MLP.
(yes, that's all it will hold - by weight, MLP is the lightest).
And the cost for the loadman is ₹700.
That means, the cost per kg for loading the material onto the truck is ₹2 (700/350).
Forget the cost of the truck, driver, fuel, segregation costs, baling costs, and co-processing expenses that you need to pay to a cement kiln if properly channelized.
(Don't tell me that all MLP is actually going to recyclers, we know the facts).
And yet, brands are demanding less than ₹1/kg for material movement with 100% traceability.
Show me one unit economics model where this actually works out.
Do it right, or don't do it at all.
